The New Jonesin’ Fork

Whether he’s spinnin’, nosin’ or just jonesin’, Sam Jones likes that extra edge up front to keep him balanced. With a 22mm offset this fork is for riders who love the extra responsiveness while keeping it street tough…

The new Jonesin’ fork design centres around a short 22mm offset invest cast dropout that brings your front wheel in closer to the steerer tube line giving your bikes front end that quick snappy feel for front wheel tricks. The dropouts are designed with clearance for fat plastic pegs in mind too. The rest of the fork benefits from being constructed using fully heat treated 4130 chromoly featuring a one piece CNC machined steerer tube and tapered butted fork legs for ultimate strength while maintaining light weight.

THE JONESIN’ FORK FEATURES:
– Fully heat treated 4130 chromoly fork
– CNC machined one piece steerer
– Tapered butted legs
– Clearance for 2.4” tires
– 22mm offset invest cast dropouts
– Integrated headset race
– 7075 steerer cap

The Jonesin’ Fork will will be available at BSD stockists worldwide from early May…

Shot a photo of the Sahara desert when I was on a camel safari last year in Africa and now that sand is one of my frame colors. Can’t ask for much more than that…”

Alex D Bike Check

Alex Donnachie headed out to Malaga a few weeks back to catch some sun and start filming for an X Games RealBMX video part that will be out this summer. We grabbed a bike check while there and this is the first look at Alex’s new signature tire, the Donnastreet. We’ve designed this tyre with street riding in mind with a smooth sidewall to help when grinding and a simple stylish tread pattern for fast rolling and lots of grip. Look out for the Donnastreet tire available in shops from mid April onwards…

Alex Donnachie’s BSD ALVX frame setup:

– FRAME: Tangfastic orange BSD ALVX 20.6″ frame
– BARS: Black BSD Zingbars
– GRIPS: Black BSD Paley Slims
– STEM: Black BSD Stacked stem

A FEW WORDS FROM ALEX ABOUT HIS SETUP:
“For this year I went with a brighter colour for the ALVX frame for something a bit different, I am pleased with how it came out. Also on this bike I am running the new Donnastreet tyres with a tread that is smoother for more grip while riding and also slides better on the sidewall while grinding to make those slow grinds faster…”

– SEAT: Black/dark red BSD Acid seat
– SEAT POST: Black BSD Blitzed post

A FEW WORDS FROM DAN ABOUT HIS SETUP:

“As always it’s a pleasure to build a new bike and this one is no exception! I’m buzzin’ on the new colours for 2017 and I’ve gone for the matt burgundy version this time. Stoked that the 2017 BSD frames come with integrated chain tensioners so there’s no need to worry about your wheel moving. Another new product I’m stoked on are the Substance XL cranks, they’ve been designed with less material around the axle bosses making them more ankle friendly and boast a hefty 24mm axle that actually works out lighter with the BB than 22mm! I’m also running some prototype Rude Tube LT pegs that have an aluminium core for lightness with a steel insert where the drop out touches the peg so the softer aluminium doesn’t deform and adhere to your axle. As for everything else I’ve stuck to what I know like the 2.25″ Donnasqueak tires, Stacked stem and straight link Forever chain”.
