When we were on the Soulatour in France we hooked up with new Aussie BSD rider Ren McQueen who just happened to be in Paris on the same day as us. Ren is also part of the Strictly BMX family. Here's what he had to say about his overseas experience...
Last month my girlfriend and I went on a trip to Paris, London and Scotland. Seeing as I only recently got put on BSD, this seemed like a good time to try and catch up with Grant. It worked out that the first day I was in Paris the Soul bmx street jam was on, so we met up with the BSD team there .The following day we met up again and went on a street mission that lasted well into the night. From there, Grant and the team were off touring France, while I did some sight seeing and got on a train to London. After a quick train ride I was in London. I didn’t even get my bike out of the bag until we had the rental car and headed to Romford skatepark, a place I have always wanted to ride. It's so much fun but you wouldn’t want to crash there, old cheese grater like concrete. After an afternoon of riding Rom, we drove 7 hours to Glasgow to ride the UKs largest indoor park, Unit 23. I wish I had had more than three days to ride it and thanks to Chick for letting me in free of charge. The holiday was amazing, I met some awesome people and it was good to put a face to some of the names. Thanks to Grant and the rest of the team for the riding and the good times, hopefully we'll catch up again soon.

We're just back from the Nike 6.0 BCN BMX Pro contest in Barcelona. The weather was scorching as usual for this time of year. Kriss Kyle was one of the forty riders taking part, check him out in this Nike edit and the qualifiers edit from Ride US. On Saturday night after the contest there was a secret screening of the videos from the Standby Barcelona contest that took place over the last week in the city, one of the teams went away with 10,000 Euros. For the rest of us, the celebrations consisted of drinking 1 Euro beers on the street at Place de Catalunya. On Sunday the finals were rained off halfway through, however as the course dried up there was a sick flatland demo from the likes of Jess Puente, Matthias Dandois and the crew from Japan. Here are a few random snaps from the weekend...
The Kriss Kyle photo was voted #1 for the cover of the Soulatour issue of Soul magazine which will be on sale in a couple of weeks time. Many thanks to everyone who voted for us...

There's currently a competition on the Soul website to vote for your favourite magazine cover, vote for BSD and the sick Kriss Kyle curved wall photo.
The Nike 6.0 BCN BMX pro contest is on in Barcelona this weekend on a specially constructed ramp set up at the beach. Kriss Kyle is one of the forty riders on the invite list for the pro comp, looks like it's gonna be a belter of a weekend. Hopefully see you there...
We are pleased to announce our latest team member, UK legend Craig Campbell. For those of you that don't know Craig he is arguably the most cutting edge UK rider from the 1980s. Craig was mainly known as a vert rider but was one of the first guys progressing street and mini-ramp riding, responsible for inventing tricks such as nosepicks on vert, peg grinds and the 540 wallride. We hooked him up with a new bike consisting of BSD and Primo parts with the help of Stu Dawkins at Seventies Look out for more news on Craig soon...
Dig issue 77 hit the shelves a few days back, Kriss and Tony both have photos in the coverage from the Soulardouzant jam we attended in Paris a few weeks ago. Click below to have a peek at the magazine....
We've been waiting a few weeks for this edit of Kriss to go online, finally here it is, in the words of Malouf "Here is an edit I made while I was over in Scotland last month. Kriss Kyle is a little shit. But thats what I love about him. Also featuring some Clips of BIGLou. And some Classic tracks off Chronic 2001. Might have to watch this twice to realize how really buck the last clip is. Enjoy!" from The Gully Factory
Kriss Kyle has been living with Si Gibb up in Aberdeen since they got back from France. Check out this edit the guys from Tilt BMX filmed yesterday in sunny Aberdoom...
The Gully crew were at Woodward not so long ago. Inbetween wreaking havoc and keeping certain X Games superstars up way past their bedtime they actually got some riding done. Here's a look at how they were living with the "Breakfast at the Playground" montage. Filmed and edited by Jeff Wescott....

We're finally back at the BSD HQ after a heavy month of touring through the UK and France. Here's a link to the amazing Soulardouzant jam video from Paris we were at a few weeks ago...
It's been a long week since we were
in Paris for the Soulardouzant jam. That day was so good riding
around the city with around 200 riders to spots which were
specially adapted by the Soul team. After that was done we
picked up Fred Borel and Vincent Perraud then headed to Toulouse
for the next four days mainly to ride the amazing La
Source trails then some street followed by going to the
bars looking for Antony Lille. We’re now in the sunny
city of Montpellier and everyone is pretty wrecked after a
real long day of riding, look out for another update soon...
Jersey and Nailz out in Spain shredding the streets of Barcelona with a guest appearance by the mad basque-tard Julien Innoreta, thanks to Pradas from Devon BMX for filming and editing this...
OK I know we're late with these video links but they're too good to pass up. After dropping Malouf in Liverpool to stay with the DUB guys for a week he ended up getting on the DUB team, here's the Gully Factory/DUB edit they filmed last week.
BSD and Unit 23 recently had a feature on the Transworld sports show on Sky Sports. Check out the interviews here with Grant Smith, Chick Mailey and Chaz Mailey. It also features some really old Bob Haro footage
Angie Marino and Tony are in Glasgow right now, we're heading to London on Thursday en route to the Soul magazine Soulardouzant jam in Paris on Saturday. After that we're going on a week long trip round France to film for the Soul DVD. Sick times for sure....
What do you get if you cross Kriss Kyle with duct tape, the Unit 23 bowl and a Sony Vivaz HD phone? Probably this crazy footage from midway through the RTG trip last week, there's some messing around on the London streets here too...
We headed to London for the final three days of Ride to Glory. The first of those days we hooked up with BMX legend Craig Campbell in Tottenham and rode street late into the night. The next day consisted of pedalling from East to West London and back again in between meeting up with Joe Fox and James Hitchcox. Things started to get desperate on Saturday as we still had some big challenges to tick off, a quick visit to Shoreditch got Kriss inked up but we still had the jump the van off the kicker challenge to do. Driving through the centre of London is never a good idea especially in the middle of a huge post election protest but it was good fun blasting the Sunshine soundtrack out of the van freaking out the crowd, plus Steve 'Swampy' Banners felt right at home amongst all the crusties. We finally found a garage roof way out west and Nailz manned up and did the van jump. Check out a few photos here...
