Alongside the classic Flat Black and Flat Raw finishes, we’re stoked to drop a brand new Chrome option for the Substance XL v2 collection in 2025. Look at that shine!

The Substance XL V2 crank is the latest evolution of the popular Substance XL crank. The XL V2 features an invest cast boss that sits fully flush with the crank arm, completely eliminating sharp edges where you're likely to hit your ankles.

Built for strength and reliability, these cranks sit on an oversized, hollow 24mm diameter spindle, offering increased stiffness and durability without adding any extra weight compared to regular 22mm spindles.

The arms of the Substance XL V2 cranks are constructed from super tough heat-treated 4130 chromoly and feature a rectangular cross-section, enhancing both rigidity and grindability, making them a solid choice for street riding and heavy impacts.

To top it off, these cranks come complete with a super smooth BSD Mid 24mm bottom bracket.
