Jan Bisanz – 'Welcome to kunstform' Video

Jan Bisanz's long-awaited welcome edit for Kunstform BMX Shop is here! Jan has built a solid reputation for throwing it down without the need for pegs. His unique riding style and wild street combos, which he pulls off with seemingly no effort at all, make this edit one you don’t want to miss! Enjoy.

“We had almost the entire video finished, but the project kind of stalled. When the deal with Kunstform came together for me, we decided to resume filming and turn it into a welcome edit to finally wrap things up. The edit consists of footage spanning nearly five years (2020–2025) and was filmed in Hannover, Berlin, and Tarifa (Spain).

By far, the most exhausting clip was the swimming pool drop. Everything was completely wet and couldn’t really be dried with towels. We also had to go there late at night because of a construction site, which is why the pool wasn’t filled with water. On top of that, there was time pressure since we didn’t know how much longer the pool would remain empty. It was freezing cold because it was winter, and there was a residential block right next to it, which made the whole situation really sketchy. There’s also a clip where I end up diving headfirst into a muddy puddle after sweeping together all the gunk—including dead frogs.

The quarter drop in Tarifa was also a bit sketchy because it was insanely windy. That’s why I took that little swerve—and, of course, because I was going ridiculously slow. The 360 tap to 360 pedal at Ihmezentrum was super fun; it worked out exactly as I had hoped. Valle called out the banger. Fun fact: We had to work a lot with security—shoutout to them. Some people were really pissed at us, or at least pretty annoyed, haha.

Another fun fact: A few clips were filmed at the “2er,” a DIY park in Hannover where BMX isn’t exactly welcomed. The guys from Yamato Living Ramps (a ramp-building company based at the spot) were there but were totally chill and actually liked what we were doing. No trouble at all. The BMX and skate scenes in Hannover generally get along great! Valle and I both skateboard there, too. The wallride to fakie was only possible thanks to some serious help from Louis (Lars Steinberger) and an angle grinder. Huge thanks for that!

An absolutely massive thank you to my cousin Valentin Seuss for bringing this to life, having endless patience with me, and accommodating all my requests! ❤️

Also, a huge shoutout to Daniel Fuhrmann and Ole Peter from Kunstform, who made this video possible! Thanks to everyone who supported us, the skate and BMX scenes in Hannover, and 2er e.V.”
