After introducing the all-new BSD CRBN-XLT rim, we’re stoked to roll out our latest complete wheel line-up, the CRBN-XLT wheelset. Designed to push performance further, these wheels rank among the most advanced BMX options available today. Built around the new BSD CRBN-XLT carbon fibre rim, these wheels deliver a lightweight, responsive feel while maintaining the strength required for modern BMX street and park riding.
Constructed from premium Toray T700 carbon fibre, the CRBN-XLT rim weighs just 340g (12oz), significantly reducing rotational weight to make hopping and spinning feel quicker and more effortless. The rim features ultra-thick sidewalls, reinforced spoke seats, and aligned cross-over lacing to improve durability and spoke life.
These rims have been rigorously tested tested for over five years by the BSD team - including Alex Donnachie, Kriss Kyle, Gaspar Guendulain, Andriy Podoba, and Guy Scroggie - the CRBN-XLT was developed to balance lightweight performance with heavy-duty strength.
The range includes the CRBN-XLT Revolution V1.5 rear Planetary freecoaster wheel, the CRBN-XLT Back Street Pro rear cassette wheel, and the CRBN-XLT Front Street Pro front wheel.

BSD CRBN-XLT RIM
Introducing the BSD CRBN-XLT carbon fibre rim, built for modern BMX street and park riding. Constructed from Toray T700 carbon fibre, it offers exceptional stiffness at just 340g. Reinforced spoke seats and aligned cross-over lacing increase durability.
The CRBN-XLT is available in two finish options to suit different riding setups: a brakeless finish for riders running a clean, brake-free build, and a brake-specific finish designed to accommodate rim brakes.
